Alzheimer Scotland

SafeConnect

Developed in partnership with Police Scotland, SafeConnect are yellow fobs which can be programmed with a person’s emergency contact details, so if a person becomes confused, distressed or disoriented they can be helped to get back home safely. Alzheimer Scotland is now offering free fobs across Scotland for anyone living with a diagnosis of dementia. To order your SafeConnect pack, contact our Dementia Advisors on 0300 373 5774 (Mon-Fri 9-5pm) or email [email protected]. Once programmed, we recommend the fob is attached to an item that you always take with you when you go out or to your jacket.

Reviews

Initially I was skeptical, I didn’t know how to tap it? But then I realised I don’t even have to tap it, you just go near it and the message pops up.
